Dr Rachael King

Rachael at a glance..

Rachael has a broad range of experience in psychology and education spanning from both university led research posts, to assistant posts in speech and language therapy and child psychology. Since graduating as a teacher in 2002, Rachael has sought a range of experiences and practice-based roles to help her to become the rounded psychologist she is today. Rachael has worked within both the local authority and private sector offering solutions and consultation to complex problems in schools.

Rachael currently leads the Orange Psychology ‘Children in Care’ work, offering bi-weekly consultations and reflective supervision to care home staff, using her broad range of therapeutic knowledge. She has worked collaboratively with care staff to introduce Pillars of Parenting approaches (see Colin Magin) and continues to find new ways of enhancing confidence and competence within our care home providers.
