The Focus

• To rejuvenate our toolbox of skills for collaborative/consultative/facilitative approaches to helping.
• To revisit and revise these skills with people who are passionate about working in this way (and, reconnect with why we are passionate about working in this way).
• To practice opportunities, frameworks etc to support the achievement of change through questioning.
• To feel rejuvenated in our coaching practice so that schools are attracted to it in the longer term

Objectives:

• To explore current understanding about collaborative/facilitative approaches to helping and the resources that exist within the team.
• To clarify what coaching is, its purpose and domains of application.
• To highlight, demonstrate and practise the skills used in coaching.
• To leave participants with a versatile coaching model that can be applied in a range of situations.
